Amazing product amazing quality

This thing is freaking awesome!!! My home always does a good job heating and cooling except for in 2 of the rooms and that's not cool cause we spend most of the time in these rooms. So this smart cocoon booster fan is a fan that you put into your vent and. Lose it like normal and you sing it with your wifi and it makes you able to control every aspect of the device. Fan up and down on different settings how hard it blows how fast it goes and you can even change directions and control every fan in every room to custom tailor it to your desired wants and needs. A brilliant invention that works better than I could have hoped. I bought 2 more and I love them all lol. Imagine having every room in your house custom cool or warm to your desired for each room thatsy goal lol no one wants cold bottoms in the bathroom lol.

Actually Works

I’m so surprised at how well this works, we have an upstairs south facing bedroom that is easily 15 degrees hotter than the rest of the house, and unbearable to sleep in. This little fan has reduced the temp by a good 10 degrees, during the peak heat of the day and helps to cool the room off quicker at night. We have a standard thermostat and the systems were fast and easy to set up.

Not worth the cost

This unit works good with the A/C, but never shuts off, even when A/C stops. Maybe it works better with a smart thermostat but it sure doesn’t work well without one. Sad, because I was so excited to get one.

It really helps.

The booster fan is helpful for adjusting the room temperature. However, it would be even better if it could connect to a temperature sensor for more automated control. When I used it for heating, it turned on and off frequently, which made it hard to sleep due to the noise.

Thanks so much for your feedback! It sounds like you might be using Eco Mode, which means the fan turns on and off whenever your HVAC does. If your HVAC is cycling frequently, this can cause the fan to do the same, which might explain the noise keeping you awake. To avoid this, you can easily set a desired room temperature or even schedule specific temperature settings right in the app. Also, do you happen to have a smart thermostat like an Ecobee or Nest? Sometimes their temperature settings can be very sensitive and might need calibration, which could also cause frequent cycling. Worked better than expected!

Our SmartCocoon fans have made a significant difference to our home comfort. My adult kids mentioned how much cooler their rooms were without me asking them! I was slightly skeptical about how well SmartCocoon would work but it has surpassed expectations and made a believer out of me.

Finally the rooms are warm!

We bought two SmartCocoon smart vents and they made a huge difference int he comfort in our son's home. I would highly recommend them for anyone with cold rooms in the winter or hot rooms in the summer.

Ahhh sleep at last.

The temperatures in the master bedroom upstairs was always extreme. Stifling hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter. We installed the SmartCocoon and it moderated the temperature dramatically making it far more comfortable year-round.
